Keyone Berry, 21, was arrested following a road rage-related shooting on Moody Avenue near Woodlawn Pike.
At around 12:15 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting on Moody Avenue.
The preliminary investigation showed the victims, a 76-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, were involved in a collision with a black pickup truck while driving south on Woodlawn Pike.
After the crash, Berry allegedly followed the victims onto Moody Avenue, pulled alongside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds, striking the vehicle at least twice. The victim, who was also armed, fired one round before Berry fled the scene.
Berry was later located in South Knoxville. Officers learned that a passenger and his two children were inside his vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Berry was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of child endangerment. He was out on bond for prior aggravated robbery and aggravated assault charges at the time of the incident.
